So, I am in Gstaad Switzerland for the New Year with my Husband , his sons, and our 2 good friends Rachel Bernstein and Andre Koren- who might I add just got engaged tonight on NYE and Alki's best friend Mark- aka- CNN!!!!!!
We are having so much fun. I love spending time with Alki's sons and Marky. And it's so special to have our couple friends with us because it makes us get out and do activities. Rachel and I are not very good at Skiing and since it has been non stop snowing we have yet to go. Alki,Andre and Mark are all really good and so are Alki's sons. Hopefully tomorrow we will get to try out the Bunny Slopes ;)
Anyway- Here are some pics from Switzerland so far. We still have a week here and then we are off to London!

| Note- lately I have been putting blue mascara on my bottom lashed only and black not he top. I think it gives a pop to my eyes and its a nice alternative to having turquoise eye shad won on your lower lid.<3 |

New Years Eve 2011
For NYE I decided to do a purple eye shadow to pic up on the colors from the sparkles on my dress. My dress is by Jovani and I got it at a boutique called Paris in Westwood CA. The jewelry I wore was from my Wedding day- by Pnina Tornai.
Rachel's dress was a bronzy color bought from Bloomingdales and she went with a more natural lid to show off her lashes.

ReplyDelete1) How do you get such flawless skin? Typically, after I apply makeup my skin looks okay, but I cant manage to obtain a shiny sheen to my skin. It ends up looking very dull. Do you put something on your cheeks that make them look that beautiful?

ReplyDelete@zena- Thank you so much.. I was using a canon camera- one of the small ones that come in black, pink , silver.. I think 16mp... And pictures I upload into iPhoto and editing lighting only- some i put an "antique" color overlay on it to give it a warmer look- and sometimes tighten the contrast or sharpness- just lighting effects :) xx

@Ana-- Thank you so much.. I have written previous blogs on my "stay in shape secrets" and some workout routines.. Search them on my page and take a look.. But if I could think of something right now that would help it would be do stay away from bread, sodas, added sugar and salt- anything white and drink lots of water :)
@Christina- aw thank girls.. OK Secret #1- yes- I use MAC compact highlighter called mineralized skin finish . I put it on after my bronzer just on my cheek bones so that when light hits it- it shines and highlights. You can also put it under your eyebrows. :)

@anon- Hmm.. this is deff a combination- One is MAC powder blush in Pink Swoon, the other is a cream from Make up forever and then a powder from them mixed with a highlighter on my cheek bones. Ill do a blog on my entire look :) xx
@Mimi- awwww thank you mimi- yes I will do an entire post on what I used for my NYE look. And LOVE the YSL #7 right!!!! perfect for day or night.
@Pink Glam- Aw thanks girl.. with the right makeup you can achieve anything.
@anon- Thank you- I like being dark in the summer when Im more tan and warmer in the winter so i look tanner LOL. But thank you- and yes- I tell my stylist- a warm chocolate brown.
@anon- I didn't use lashes not he bottom- I think from using latisse that it gets on my bottom lashes and has made them grow longer. For blush I used a combination and the same for eye shadows. Ill do a Blog later today on everything I used xx
@anon- LOL Its a long story Why we call each other peachka.. BUT- back int he day I was dating this Albanian guy and he taught me all these dirty words. Then one day rachel and I just started calling each other Peachka and it has stuck ever since. LOL Why? You must know what it means ?!!?!?

Hey Jen, can you do a video blog of when your hairs wet, the products you use, and then how you blow it out? Also, i would LOVE if you sold some of your clothes, shoes, jewelry, etc. on your blog. @Ariel- aww I will deff do a post just for you. I have temp hair in right now_ tracks, but whenI get home I am going to put new extensions in and will do a post on it.. To me though- I don't think it damages the hair. And now there are so many new techniques of hair extensions that Im sure you can find one that works good for you. xoxoxo
@caitlin- Selling clothes sounds like a great idea. I tend to give my clothes to friends- But it would be a good way to make some cash back and even donate it to one of my fav charities... I really want to get involved in charity work this year... And yes ill do a video on how I blow dry my hair..
