Hi ladies and Gents.
I wanted to do a quick update with 2 submissions from readers that came in of Home Remedies.
A face scrub from Jenna-
"I just wanted to tell you the best homemade face mask I found a few months ago and have been using at least once a month on my face. All you do is mix olive oil, honey, and sugar in a container and apply it to your face and lips. I do this in the shower and leave it on for about 5 minutes. I have very dry skin, especially in the winter, and this works wonders! The olive oil moisturizers your skin while the sugar exfoliates. I just thought i'd tell you about this face mask because I thought you'd like to try it :) "

Here is a face mask from Margarita
"Jennifer,
I was so excited to read your blog on the milk powder face mask. I'm can't wait to try that one. I love reading your blogs, you give women some really great ideas and thank you for being so down to earth and sharing your tips and secrets, and sharing your fashion inspirations. Anyways, I wanted to share a mask I make at home that I love, and maybe you could try it too. I have combination skin, but in the winter it gets a little more drier, and I have large pores too. I make an egg white and honey mask, which refines your pores and makes your skin feel great and look illuminous. The honey goes in because egg whites can be a little drying, so the honey adds a little moisture.
Here's the recipe, enjoy! "
Crack 1 egg and separate the egg white into a bowl
1 tablespoon of honey
Whisk the ingredients together until well mixed, and apply the mixture to your cleansed face. You can leave the mask on for about a half hour. Then wash off with warm water, and moisturize.
I hope you try it and love it as much as I do. You'll instantly notice how FAB your face will look and feel. And if you're like me ( i have big pores) it totally shrinks them.
Much love,
Margarita

Great post everyone. Can't wait to try! My facialist christine chin taiught me a very awesome and effective eye mask. Crack an egg open dump the out contents and keep the shell. Take the shell and on the inside of it there should be a layer you can peel out still there. It looks clearish almost skinlike. Peel it out and upply fine layers under your eyes for about 15 minutes. Gently clean off!! Xxxooxo

i really enjoy your blog. I was looking at your blog for ideas. its great to have inexpensive ways to maintain a healthy skin. I have also been using the skin detox works great! i still have trouble with my skin though. I combined to face mask which was strange at first but wheels amazing. I started with an egg applying only the yellow part left it only for 10minutes then i mixed a moutrizer with sugar scrub which felt strange but worked great to remove the yolk; a bit messy but fun! I then used a damp towel to remove it.
ReplyDeletedo you recommend any other mask to target acne?
