| 19 weeks Pregnant. Jennifer Stano |
I frequently get asked about what my diet is while being pregnant . As I said in my last post, my first trimester was a wash for me. All I wanted to do was eat, and I didnt watch or care what I was eating. Well, of cousre I cared, but I ate bagels, pasta, lots of bread, just way too much, but I had to. My body was giving me no choice. I never had cravings like I did in my first trimester EVER! And I'm happy I listened to my body because I was underweight and needed a few extra pounds to ensure a safe pregnancy. So now, in my 2nd trimester the cravings have gone and Im eating so much better.

Some of the foods I like to eat:

celery with cream cheese
cottage cheese with pineapple
greek yogurt mixed with jelly
Lunch-
Tuna mixed with wholewheat pasta
Tuna on rice cakes
Plain wholewheat pasta with sauce
Soup and a chicken salad
rice cake with peanut butter and jelly.
Dinner-
Sushi- but only shrimp tempura and california rolls ( since you can't eat raw fish)
Spinach with sesame sauce
edamame
Some of my lunch items listed above Ill eat for dinner
Occasionally a cooked Ham and cheese sandwich
Club sandwich
I try to make a fresh veggie and fruit juice at least 3 times a week consisting of
Kale
Cucumber
spinach
green apples
carrots
celery
Drinks-
MILK!!!!!
Orange Juice
Ginger Ale
Pineapple juice
Grapefruit Juice
Apple Juice
Water ( still only )
Hot water with fresh lemon
Fresh mint tea
Occasional Soda- Coca Cola
Body- I have been using Olive Oil and Coconut oil as well as Cocobutter that does not contain Phenoxyethanol . I was using Mama Mio products but stopped after finding out some of the chemicals they use in their pregnancy products... not cool. I also found a great DIY all natural body butter posted here- http://expectinginlondon.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/breggys-belly-butter-prevent-stretch.html
Makeup - I'm using a brand called Inika. Its an all natural brand from Australia and I really like their products so far. I found them here in London at John Lewis. I don't wear foundation often at all, I actually bought some just for my pregnancy photoshoots coming up, but I will wear concealer since my skin is anything but perfect at the moment, and Eye shadow occasionally, along with basic mascara. Check out their line. The range of colors isn't amazing for foundations, so I bought 2 and mix to get my perfect shade.
Cleaners- A powder mix from Sri Lanka when I visited. They can be used as a mask or a scrub. The only ingredients are listed on the covers such as Fullers Earth and Sandalwood. I bought them at one of the largest stores in Colombo called Odel , however I checked the site and can't find them anywhere :( You can go on amazon and order the powders individually and make your own.
Moisturizer-

Body and Hair- Im using Neals's Yard products. I love their Rose line.
They also have a great mother and baby line, all natural <3
Nails- I found a few nail polish lines on amazon that are all natural without the harsh and harmful chemicals in them. So far Im using a mineral line from whole foods called Mineral Fusion. My other polishes have not arrived yet but once they do I will share them. Mineral Fusion also makes makeup which I have not tried. And I believe that their nail polish line is exclusive to Whole Foods.
Hair Dye and Tanning products- NONE. I have not dyed my hair or tanned my skin with sunless tanner or in a tanning bed since I found out I was pregnant.
Places I have been shopping for baby clothes for Niko here in London- They all ship international btw.

Baby Nursery Inspiration.
My mom is coming in mid Feb and we have decided to sew the nursery bedding together. I did buy a backup set just incase off of Ebay which is AMAZING, but its so special to actually make something myself for my baby and to bond and share the experience with my mom. I have been sewing baby blankets these past few weeks since I was sick and the weather was so crappy, and I can't what to actually use them on Niko.

Maternity Picture Ideas I want to do for myself: A combo of sexy and sweet
Controversy.
On my instagram account I recently posted a picture of myself and my bump and I got a ton of comments saying I was wearing butt pads... right! Because I would totally start to wear butt pads while being pregnant and having all kinds of weird growing pains but never have before ?!?!?! So, after seeing enough butt pad comments I decided to take a picture the next day of me in my sports bra and panties to show that my REAL baby bump matches my REAL ASS!
Of course on the "proof" photo I received a ton of hate as well calling me a whore, a bad mother, asking me " how could you take a picture like that you're suppose to be a mom". I find all of them ridiculous. As you can see from the pictures above many woman, celebrities and so on take beautiful nude photos of themselves while pregnant, and why not?! Its a beautiful thing. Granted mine was a candid shot but come on. I can't believe how unhappy people are with themselves to have to go and deliberately hate on someones picture. And hells yes I will still model for my swim line once I have the baby. Just because you have a baby doesn't mean you change the person you are.
Anyway, Im posting the pictures here so those of you who don't have instagram can see them. I model for my swim line Have Faith Swimgerie, I have modeled in the past, I work damn hard for my body and Im not harming my child or anyone around me- so it shouldn't matter.. As long as my husband says its ok, then its ok!

Pregnancy Quotes, How I feel
Let us make pregnancy an occasion when we appreciate our female bodies.
~Merete Leonhardt-Lupa
Instead of wishing away nine months of pregnancy and complaining about the shadow over my feet, I'd have cherished every minute of it and realized that the wonderment growing inside me was to be my only chance in life to assist God in a miracle.
~Erma Bombeck,
Giving birth and being born brings us into the essence of creation, where the human spirit is courageous and bold and the body, a miracle of wisdom.
~Harriette Hartigan
Now my belly is as noble as my heart.
~Gabriela Mistral
A baby is something you carry inside you for nine months, in your arms for three years, and in your heart until the day you die.
~Attributed to Mary Mason

Awww this blog post is just lovely :) You look absolutely fantastic (sod the haters) - keep doing your thing, girl :)
ReplyDeletePeople will always find a reason to hate you because they have miserable lives. Enjoy your live and body, its strong, beautiful and healthy. You have worked and endured a lot to have a baby and this is your time to enjoy it to the fullest! Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy
ReplyDeleteJennifer,
ReplyDeleteI actually saw your photos on Twitter (via Instagram, I imagine) and thought, "wow, that is an ASS! I wonder if it is fake, but who would really wear butt pads while preggo?!". I mean, honestly you can tell you are not a woman who has to prove anything. So, when you posted the pics in your undies to prove your booty is real, I honestly thought it was very ballsy! I say good for you! You look amazing, and if I were preggo and looked like you I'd be blowing up my Instagram with photos of my self! And this is coming from a girl, who doesnt actually think naked preggo photos are very appealing, personally. The idea that people are hating on your body, while pregnant, is actually just so silly to me. So, rock it while you got it! People that are hating obvi don't got it like you do! :) - Erin Leigh
Don't listen to all the negative comments.people are just jealous.I think your'e awesome and I wish you all the best in your pregnancy!
ReplyDeleteBig fan Jennifer. I check your blog daily, follow you on Instagram and Twitter. I find you inspiring; a beautiful and intelligent woman who built her own company from group up, and I buy products you review..however, I'm disappointed in your last blog. I agree that people who hate on you are pathetic losers and you can't make everyone happy but the snide comment about "I'm probably skinnier than you and 5 months pregnant" stings. I'm overweight and it's sickening to hear you make fun of someones weight. I know you get a lot of heat, but is it fair to make fun of the people who are bigger than you and who aren't pregnant, like me? I'm proud of my curves as you are and while you can attack your haters, please don't offend your fans while doing so.
ReplyDeleteThanks

Hey Jen! I just wanted to tell you, that you look absolutely beautiful! I promise I am not a hater, but I follow your instagram and when I saw the picture the only thing that I thought about.. besides the fact that you look so cute while being pregnant, is how it will be tough to teach baby Niko to eff the haters with pictures trying to prove them wrong, shutting them up etc. Your baby will be blessed to be born to such great parents and with his blessings he will unfortunately have those who are jealous etc. I am sure you will be able to teach him how to not be bothered by it, but I hope you yourself are not :(.
ReplyDeletelol on another note I'm sure it feels damn good to prove them wrong cause your body looks smokin hot girl!
Pleaseeee update your blog more often (as you get time, I'm sure your busy) I love love love your posts. Your so informative with your posts I always learn something and honestly I just like reading about your life. <3
Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy!
I love the blankets you made. I can't wait to see the rest of what you and your mom make. What awesome memories you'll have of the whole experience!
ReplyDeleteCan't believe people manage to hate on you when you're pregnant. I remember a time when people would be nicer to a lady when she was pregnant!
I love all your pics and if I look as good as you when I'm pregnant I will damn sure show it off!! I am not sure why people think just because your a mother you have to wear turtlenecks and pants!! If you're happy why do people feel its so necessary to bring you down! JEALOUSSS. (although I am totally jealous of your wardrobe :) and that you can sew!!) and i LOVE all your maternity inspiration pics!! Cant wait to see how yours turn out! Congrats!!
ReplyDeletetotally gorgeous :) thanks for the cosmetic recommendations... they look phenomenal :)
ReplyDelete<3 Beautiful inside and out =)
ReplyDeleteForget the haters j, ur life is way too fairy tale to have time for that!! Being true to yourself and proud of who you are is what will and already does make you a great mother! <3
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Jenn!
ReplyDeleteYou look so happy :)
xoxo
Awww! You look great missy. Don't let any boogers out there tell you otherwise. They don't know you. Keep up the happy thoughts and continue the positive energy!
ReplyDeleteI thought I was the only one who liked to eat celery with cream cheese! Yummy isn't it? I've been having alot of cream cheese monkey bread too. Oh so bad but tastes so good. I'm not too far ahead of you on being pregnant...going on 27 weeks tomorrow! :)
Careful about having processed, deli meats and cold-smoked seafood. They come with a Listeria warning. Listeria primarily affects pregnant women, among other things.
Dear Jennifer,
ReplyDeleteYou are a beautiful young woman taking part in one of life's greatest miracles. Don't let the negativity affect you - it's sad that people are so mean like they're still in HS, but I think you shouldn't give them the time of day.
Dio ti benedica.
Jenn, I think you would LOVE the book Momma Glow: You should definitely check that out. And you look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI'm just so curious, how much do you weigh now? Also I'm assuming you're eating meat again for the baby given that it's listed in your menu? Just some advice (I'm vegetarian but need to tell you this regardless of where you stand for you and your baby's safety!): cut or eliminate pork out of your diet, it is an inherently unclean meat because pigs have very simple digestive systems and don't digest their food as properly thus they carry more toxins. If not cooked properly the meat can contain parasites and give you an infection like worms. :S
ReplyDeleteAlso, the milk you're drinking...please make sure it's hormone-free! It would be such a waste for you to be using all these chemical-free products but not doing that with your foods. I know you're in UK and I don't know what their stance is with milk and whether they pump their cows with growth hormones, but regardless, please make sure it's hormone free or an amazing alternative like almond or coconut milk. Milk (or any dairy for that matter) that has hormones in it won't be advertised as hormone-free (obvi) but the hormone itself, rGBH, has been linked to breast cancer in female cows. It's just something to keep an eye out for! :)
Hey Jen,
ReplyDeleteI was wondering how your rib tattoo has gone with your pregnancy. I also have a tattoo in the same position as yourself and am wondering if you have experienced any stretching?
Jessica x
love this post Mrs David :) and you probably are skinnier than all those haters ... not pregs but I wanna try that body butter recipe !
ReplyDeletehttp ://meghansilva.blogspot.com
You look absolutely beautiful and are my inspiration for when my hubby and I get pregnant. We're also currently trying and have had once miscarriage but remain hopeful :)
ReplyDeleteYou're very down to earth, likeable and relateable. Don't listen to all of the jealous, bitter people hiding behind their computers. Lets' face it - you have it all and you deserve every bit of it. Keep on enjoying your blessed life and please keep on blogging. All the best for the rest of your pregnancy! :)
Hi jennifer, my name is Paola, I'm live in Italy.I love your life and your style and I love how the inspiration to girls.best wishes for your Pricipe, you have a beautiful family!I want you thank because through your blog I discovered the book the Secret! I also saw movie.I want ask you if you can explain me how you use the secret in your life.I will have a life as your.can you give me some advice?you're beautiful and I follow you everyday!I'd like to meet you one day!I hope you will answer me because I'd really like your advice!thanks and scuse me for my english but I'm Italian:)This post is very very nice and now your body is perfect!!I think a girl pregnant is even more beautiful!you don't listen to the critics! you are for me a source of inspiration!!I want to learn English to understand everything you write not always translate!!
ReplyDeletekiss!!!!:):)
I am happy you do not let the Haters get to you...they are just jealous because you look INCREDIBLE! Pregnancy is an amazing and beautiful time...continue to rock it during and after your pregnancy! Little Niko will know what a beautiful, smart and strong mother he has in you!
ReplyDeleteLet me tell you, there are a LOT of mothers/pregnant ladies (even men) who hate their bodies change, who feel really ugly and hate making love with their men, who are grossed out by nursing children older than 3 months etc.etc. Same women are offended by the word milf and a thousand other things. If you thought you were criticized a lot before wait until those type of people start commenting. I can't imagine someone asked you - are you wearing butt pads LOL as if a pregnant lady needs pads anywhere on her body. But who cares about those people! I am a milf just like you :) and while pregnant i loved my body even more, felt extremely sexy with big boobs/butt/belly&new life inside of me. Also the reason you don't get no morning sickness and stuff, because everything surrounding motherhood is natural & OK to you. It really is a psychological thing. (except for epidural lmao, just take it)
ReplyDeleteYou're gonna be a great, natural mom and fcuk everybody who's trying to put their own insecurity's on you.
Jen,
ReplyDeleteI have a eerily similar life like yours, I too am an american married to a wealthy Greek... I love your blog and respect what you share so openly. I cannot think of one person like you in the blog world!
Forget the haters, they are wrong about you!
Big congrats, But ive read theres high levels of mercury in tuna, megan fox was on the tonight show saying thats how she got her stubby thumbs. anyway be safe.
ReplyDeleteNo need to prove anything. Being preg.is beautiful & if u r happy u should do w.e makes u & baby happy. Ppl will always b unhappy with u in some shape way or form so just don't listen 2 all the hate. Its pointless
ReplyDeleteAwh I loved reading this, I'm currently 27weeks (almost 28) in my 7th month of pregnancy and I love it! So many people moan and complain and wish away the 9 months but as much as I'm obviously dying to meet my son I'll be sad when I'm no longer pregnant. Its a real special feeling knowing a life is being created and developed inside you. I'm due end of April and like yourself it took me quite a while to fall pregnant so right now despite being uncomfortable and breathless I cherish every moment he's inside me ♥
ReplyDeleteAnd you have 2 heart beats instead of one :) which is even more amazing
ReplyDeleteYou are beautiful! Do not listen to these idiots.
ReplyDeleteI love reading your blog and I love YOU! You are such a strong woman with your own conviction about the things you do in your life, and I really admire that. It's wonderful to see someone as beautiful and talented as you, enjoying your pregnancy and being proud of everything you are :) You are an inspiration and I wish you and your family the best!
ReplyDeleteGood for you! What I don't get is if they don't like what you're doing, why follow you on Instagram?
ReplyDeletePeople need to get a life.
Beautiful post, and I love how you're embracing the baby bump! It's definitely something to show off :)
ReplyDeleteYou look Radiant!
ReplyDeleteNice post, I hope u and son, will be healthy and happy :)
ReplyDeleteI love how you make your pregnancy experience a beautiful one. Keep doing what you're doing and ignore those who judge you. There's too much hate in this world, which often has me too worried to have children of my own. Your baby will have a beautiful life showered with love and affection. Best wishes to you, Alki, & your future son <3
ReplyDeleteI can´t believe that there are so many haters out there. Get a life people! Jenn, you look SO good and damn sexy. i hope I get to look like you when I am pregnant because you´re a stunner girl:-)
ReplyDeleteI read your blog often but have never posted before. I just wanted to say congrats on your pregnancy, you look absolutely beautiful! Its really unfortunate that you have received criticism on your pics, as women's bodies should be celebrated during pregnancy! Best of luck to you during this special time. xo
ReplyDeleteAww the baby bump pictures will be lovely, so special to have for you and for Niko when he's older! Love all the cute clothes. People are ridiculous, there is nothing wrong with showing their body, pregnant or not, it's totally up to you. People say you are a bad mother for it, but it's the freaking human body, everyone has one, it is nothing to hide, children are always running around naked!!! You look fabulous pregnant! :) Soo excited to see what little Niko looks like, he is going to be gorgeous! :D Laura x
ReplyDeleteI've been reading your blog for about 2 weeks now and I think you are amazing! I love your honesty and you look damn good girl! You are rocking an amazing pregnant body and you work hard for it so post those pictures! You look great!
ReplyDeleteHi Jen, can you pls do a blog on how you used "The Secret" in details. I would really appreciate it, I emailed you once about it, but I got no reply :(
ReplyDeleteAnyways, take care.
You are a beautiful person.
ReplyDeleteDon't give attention to all the haters, they are just insecure people!
Enjoy your pregnancy. I wish you the best of luck :) !
xxx Laura (Belgium)
I loved this post! CONGRATULATIONS!! I always write that on your instagram. As for Nursery ideas, I love the one with the two cribs. A friend of mine just had twins, they are so perfect! A boy and a girl. This is personal, but are you having natural birth? You're almost there 4 more months. I feel like your pregnancy is going by faster than Ms Amber Rose LOL, shes been pregnant forever! I'm so happy for you and Alki. God Bless baby Niko. love you

P.S Girl you have more ass than me !!! LOLOL
Hi Jennifer,
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your blog and I love YOU. Your posts are amazing. Do not let the haters get you down. Jealousy brings out the worst in people.I watched Trophy Wives like 5 times LOL. You and Alki neeeed your own show!
I have lost 5 pounds since following your blog before Christmas LOL.
xo
I love readign your blog and can't believe there are so many haters out there!! You look GREAT!!
ReplyDeleteWe are very different ladies, living very different lives, but I just wanted to say kudos to you! You look amazing, pregnancy is good to you. A pregnant belly is gorgeous and there is no reason you shouldn't show it off. Congratulations and ignore the haters.
ReplyDeletehi Jennifer,
ReplyDeleteI have been following your BLOG- and its absolutely amazing!
Wanted to write this little note after reading this very last one;
as
I hate HATERS!!!
its unbelievable how hateful people could be- when there is no reason at all!
First of all, you are gorgeous- pregnant or not. and more importantly you are very sincere and put your heart out in every BLOG that you write...You share your secrets, you share your tips...you share your ups and downs... but a lot of people are just so jealous to understand and appreciate this- so don't mind them one bid!
Being from a different background I always thought it would not be as bad here, in the US but i guess jealousy is jealousy wherever you go...
Hope to see soooooooo much more pics of you- during pregnancy- after pregnancy- bikini pics- baby pics- baby belly pics-outfit pics...etc..etc...
All of them!!!
Sincerely,
Beril ( Berilakcay.blogspot.com)
Beautiful! I chronicled my pregnancy in pictures, as well; it's such a miraculous and special thing for each woman. Post on, girl, I love reading your updates and seeing your beautiful pictures! (And you have inspired me to get back into bikini shape ASAP so I can order a hot mama Have Faith suit for this summer.) ake care of yourself during this special time!
ReplyDeleteJennifer Stano, I would just like to say how beautiful you are and how much i enjoy reading your blog and following you on instagram!
ReplyDeleteYou are truely an amazing woman and everyone else who doesnt think so, SUCK IT UP!! HATERS WILL ALWAYS HATE!!! I have followed you and watched your belly blossom and transform and all i can say is WOW!! I wish someday when i fall pregnant, i look like you!!!
Those butt pad comments - everyone is just jealous of your beauty and physique therefore posting nasty comments!!
I wish you, Alki & baby Niko all the very best, keep up the good work!!!
Im actually trying to loose a few kgs before i buy any of your swimwear, dont want to damage the name of the company lol :P
I am so proud to read what you wrote on all the awful comments u were recieving its everything i have been wanting to say for years ,You are so beautiful inside and out and and a great roll model ,so dont second guess yourself .I to have been going threw something simmilar on instagram .I also have children ,and i work really hard to look good so i posted a pic of me showing of my abs my fiances family and some who i considerd close to me were so nasty and tryed to break my relationship of 13 years . No one else matters but your husband and your baby so pay no attention to all the jealous people they just want to be like you !
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing! I have 4 kids, 3 boys and 1 girl. I wanted a little girl so bad, but I can tell you that your little boy will be the light of your life. I love my daughter more than anything, but the bond I have with my boys there is just nothing that can compare. Little boys always have a special bond with their mothers and it seems like little girls have a special relationship with their father. I am really glad to see that you have been mindful of all the chemicals that are put in everything. Its improtant to take every precaution to make sure you have a healthy baby and you seem to be doing a good job.I have been a long time follower (since before you were married) and I am just so happy for you.
ReplyDeleteThis is a gross overgeneralisation, sorry! I am a girl but have always had a MUCH closer bond with my mother!!!! I'm sorry, but the whole "mothers are close to their sons and fathers with their daughters" is patriarchal nonsense to me. Some children are close to their father, some to their mother, some equally to both - gender has little to do with this.
DeleteWhat an awful person, to pose like that while pregnant...and while wearing a fake butt. Yadda yadda, some people just suck. Poopoo on them.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of the post is that you sew for your baby! I love it - I don't know why!
Btw, this may not be the appropriate post for this question, but was there only one episode of the show you were on?
ReplyDeleteDarling you look awsome :D
ReplyDeletei love how mindfull you are about all the organic food and skin care
all the best
xx
Hi, You look great! The most important thing is how You feel in things You do and that Your family supports You. I wish You all the best! Greetings from Croatia... :) N
ReplyDeleteYou go girl! It's so good to see you are embracing pregnancy and celebrating the beauty. I am 30 weeks pregnant, also having a little boy and I can really relate to how pregnancy makes you feel. I truly realize how precious of a gift/miracle having a healthy baby is! Bumpin it and proud!:-)
ReplyDeletewhen you put yourself out in the public eye, be prepared to be loved and HATED on.
ReplyDeleteZOMG. Really? People were saying you had butt pads? Good grief.
ReplyDeleteYou are an adorable pregnant girlie. Enjoy it! I have 2 precious daughters & I miss those special moments of being pregnant. I always think, "It's the closest I was ever to my child. I could feel every hiccup, movement, & squirm. And it was all MINE." haha. Best wishes!
Your next venture.....baby blankets & bedding. You should REALLY do it.
Love you and your blog! Ignore the haters! They are just jealous! I've 10 days left to go until my due date! I'm nervous and also excited to meet him or her! You're so right, pregnancy is such a beautiful gift! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy! Xxx
ReplyDeleteI have never posted onto a celebrity blog or anything of the sort. BUT I have to say you are amazing! I truly enjoy your blogs. I love that I can trust you opinions on makeup and don't have to feel like you are being compensated for promoting their brands. Your talent is more than visible to anyone that wants to see it and not just hate on you because of their own unhappiness.
ReplyDeleteBeing pregnant is the most beautiful experience a women can have. There is nothing to be ashamed of! I don't know anyone who could not see the beauty captured in a picture of a pregnant body. I wish you all the best! P.s. have you looked into eminence organic products. They are hand made in Hungary and are amazing! I used them after my pregnancy to get my skin back to pre- baby shape!
you look great! I am 23 weeks along today and it does feel like it has gone by fast! wishing you a happy and healthy rest of your pregnancy.
ReplyDelete-Veronika

ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer! I know you're naming your son Nikola after your dad but I was just wondering if your dad's name was Nikola or Nicholas? I'm curious because Nikola is a Serbian name and I've never met an Italian with that name. I think it's so cool that you're giving him that name though! Good luck with your pregnancy :) All the best for for you and baby Nikola and your family! :)
ReplyDeleteJenn, you are a gorgeous preggo and will make one hot mama..jealous, sad and ugly in heart people will always make bad comments and call names..who cares, right. Maybe you can come up with new product- butt-pads for them to take the edge off. LOL

I have never posted on your blog, but I recently found it and think you are as sweet as can be! I cannot believe ANYONE would say hurtful and horrible things to someone they don't know, and to post it to a pregnant woman!! Shame on them. Enjoy your pregnancy..it goes too fast!! My little baby girl is 2 already!! Stay healthy and happy always! God bless you and your husband! Eileen in NJ
ReplyDeleteKali tihi!
You look so damn cute!!! Im so excited for you, its great to see you blogging again. I cant believe the things some people say. I love your pregnancy pictures, they are beautiful, cant wait to see more!!
ReplyDeleteHey Jen,
ReplyDeleteI've noticed youve taken your pregnancy very seriously with not dying your hair, no tanning, making sure to only use all natural products etc, can I ask you why you are eating tuna? I am also pregnant and was advised by my OB to limit my tuna intake to once a month because of the mercury levels... I totally crave tuna more than that plus its a healthier option with all these crazy cravings... Is there a brand of tuna which contains less mercury that I am not seeing?
Help!
Jen, The photos of you are gorgeous!!! Ignore the haters!! I think it's cute how your baby bump & butt match. :~) Missy_is_Beautiful
ReplyDeletePS I wish Trophy Wives was a series! You and Alki stole the show!!
I have been reading up on your blog I myself have two boys a 4 year old and a 20 month old. You will absolutely love having a little boy.
ReplyDeleteI do clay belly cast for people sometimes and wanted to touch base with you in case you had any interest in doing a belly cast for Niko I noticed you are very passionate about journaling and remembering every aspect of your pregnancy. I have some pictures of the ones I have done. It is something you yourself can personalized with pictures etc. especially since you seem to love to being creative. If you want me to send pictures of the ones I have created. Please email me at xtinemarie76@aol.com and I will reply with examples.
Lol @ butt pads. I hit the bagels hard while I was pregnant and my ass grew too! It's back to normal now and I kind of miss it.
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog. You will find that a lot of people will have "advice/opinions/judgement" especially after that baby comes but you have to do your best not to take them harshly. As long as you are trying your best at being a good parent, that is all that matters. And who cares what people think about what you look like as long as you aren't starving/putting the baby at risk, then what does it matter to them?!!
ReplyDeletePeople are obviously just jealous: the women are jealous that they aren't as gorgeous as you (I know I am, lol!) and guys are jealous of your hubby having you in his life (and bed, hee hee). I've always been critical of "plastic" women and tend to judge them quite harshly, but I find you to be so lovely, so naturally charming, kind-hearted and SMART that I think it's completely irrelevant what work you have or haven't done on your body. You are beautiful inside and out!
ReplyDeleteYou are stunning woman and I love that you are embracing your baby bump. Pregnancy is beautiful and empowering. It looks like you are doing everything that you can to give your baby the best chance at life. I am impressed that you changed so many things about your lifestyle once you found out that you were pregnant! What are your thoughts about natural birth? I love to hear your opinion. There is a lot of conflicting information out there about natural birth verses c-section. I found the documentary "the business of being born" particularly interesting. I love following your blog and look forward to watching your bump grow.

P.S. I included a link to my blog where I have written about my birth experience.

Wow,how can someone say such cruel, mean things to someone specialy someone expecting. plus they don't even know you!!! You look healthy, gorgeous and super cute. Butt pads Lol seriously people.:) Well if you see my pictures when i was pregnant I also didn't gain much weight just the right and healthy amount as per my DR. But I had huge boobs and specialy huge butt too to match my belly(miss that part). I am portuguese so we also get bigger in that area when we gain weight. LOL Anyways don't pay attention to any of that negativity. You really look amazing! Take care
ReplyDeleteLove your blog.

ReplyDeleteHeyyy Jennifer! I have someting for you.. about your cosmetics, why dont you try beauty products and cosmetics from the LR Health and Beaty systems? They are made in Germany , high quality and they are all made from plants, all natural with no chemicals!! Think about it. you can visit www.LRworld.com for more informations.! Hope you read this. Kisses from Greece!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your baby boy! I wish more moms and moms to be would take the natural approach during and after pregnancy. Alot of new moms go for the traditional big name companies not realizing all the harmful chemicals that are in the products. So keep up the natural path, especially well after the baby is born - you will have a baby that is less sick, that's for sure :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer!
ReplyDeleteI have been a follower of your blog since I saw you on Trophy Wives! Let's face it, you were the only real trophy wife there. Your husband and you are a gorgeous couple. I just had a quick question about dieting- I try to steer away from cereals in the morning, but at times I have no time to make anything. So I sometimes resort to latte or Special K chocolate cereal with skim milk? Can you give me any advice? I don't gain weight but then again I'm only 20 and fast metabolisms do not last forever.
Thank you,
xoxoxo
Jennifer, thank you for being so candid and sharing your life with us! I saw those comments on Instagram and I was shocked that people could say such ugly hateful things to someone they have never met! The changes a woman's body goes through is amazing and the fact that we were given the ability to nurture change carry and give birth to a human being is a beautiful thing! So I say celebrate your body for it is growing a living breathing human, and by doing so does NOT make u those nasty words that were said! I can't wait to see pics of sweet baby Niko! Best blessed wishes!
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful, let the haters hate. Congratulations, I love reading you blog, you are just like me :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer,
ReplyDeleteYou are beautiful, inside and out. You are an inspiration to many many women out there to say the least, and keep your head up, and remember any negative feedback from anyone- it is a reflection of their own issues and insecurities.
I wish you well in your pregnancy!
Regarding the natural makeup you are using, I found Glam Girl Naturals Cosmetics to be amazing, wonderful, and of great quality! Hey guys. My name is Janessa. Check out my blog, www.JanessaFulloCrap.com There you'll find blogs I've posted throughout my pregnancy. I included my diet, which is only the healthiest of foods. Because, well, I like to make women feel really bad about themselves, but subtly. I also only wash my face with water flown in from the islands of Figi. I don't know, it sounded expensive. For nail color, I use pigments that I pulled from a crayola paint set, mainly because it said non toxic. I actually don't even really shower, because soap contains really harsh chemicals. Here are a BUNCH of pictures for inspirations for my maternity shoot, because, well, I can't just have the pictures for myself and my husband, I have to share them with the whole world. And not just THAT, I have to share with them WHY I chose what I chose because I am so full of myself, I mean..I am so proud to be a new Mom. Anyways, I can't wait to decide which property we'll be rearing our daughter. France, Los Angeles, Tahiti, or Wisconsin. I would list what cars we'll be buying for our future childs arrival, but I don't want to ruin my next blog. Anywho, have an amazing night everyone, and DON'T FORGET..I'm better than you.
ReplyDeleteamazing one I have read this you must be read:-Know the reasons of wearing Lange Unterhosen and why are the silk materials often preferred. The different kinds of beachwear that can be obtained from the beachwear online shop. Harren beachwear shop holds a good collection of inner wear and even for the schwule manner (gay boys)
ReplyDeleteAhh Jennifer I can't believe people were hating on you! Thats so silly...theyre probably just jealous that your body is on point. EVEN WHEN YOURE PREGNANT! Hhhahaa. You still look better naked 5 months in, and thats a feat. Lol
ReplyDeleteAs I was reading through the post the only thing I thought was youre 100% belly. Idk how you do it.. haha :) I can only hope to carry my own baby half as gracefully! You're so tiny >.< hehe. I'll have to remember to lather myself up with olive oil one day :x
Honestly the internet is FULL of self-anointed morally superior women. You just do you :) I've thought a lot about being pregnant one day (as many of my friends are struggling right now, its terrible!) so I agree its a gift and you should celebrate your body. Its funny how when women are younger they always just talk about *not* getting pregnant, and then you learn about how many women really struggle with having their own child! I'm happy for you
